Hello! Welcome to my Cosplay account here on dA! My name is Katrina, but I prefer to go by Trini!

As most of you probably have noticed by now; I cosplay as various and sundry characters, but my main love is the Clown Princess of Crime herself; Harley Quinn of Batman: The Animated Series!

Harley is ultimately the first character I ever felt a huge connection with, and the first character who I have kept on cosplaying for several years in a row! Before I discovered Harley, I bounced back-and-forth between a couple characters from multifarious anime series (this includes Rukia Kuchiki from Bleach, Haruhi Suzumiya, Sailor Saturn--etc), but never felt that these characters really related to me in anything besides appearence...but that's okay, because I still had fun!

But when I discovered Harley, it was through TDK that got me curious about the Bat Universe, and I dug into further research, discovered Harley, and the instant I saw the way she presented herself, her personality, wacky-charm and bubbly nature, I fell head-over-heels in love with the character--I saw so much of myself in Miss Quinn, and I still do, and almost every time I pick up a HQ comic that I've never read before, I can almost always see something of myself in her. Too many conisidences -- but that is fine with me, and never fails to bring a sense of euphoria and put a wide, happy grin on my face!!

I cannot tell you how happy I am to be involved with the Quinn cosplay community. I started in 2008/2009 (when I was in 10th grade), the year I became a fan, and have been a cosplay contributer ever since. My goal is to be the absolute best Harley cosplayer I can possibly be. This will be a lifetime journey, I feel, since there is always room for improvement, and even now there is still work to be done! I also plan on branching out from the cannon outfit with a variety of different outfits Harley has worn in B:TAS and in the comics.

I have already come such a long way in these past couple of years--I feel that my costumes, representation and over-all understanding of Harley will only grow further and further.

Hey all! I haven't been on my cosplay account in what seems like months now, but I wanted to do a quick update!

Are any of you familiar with Girls of the Con? If not, take a gander here: [link]

Every year GoTC makes a new calender featuring 12 (or in this case...13) different cosplay gals on each page! Well...guess what!? They have asked me to also participate with ~AKBear in a Japanese school girl style zombie hunt photoshoot!! :heart: Read all about it here: [link] I am super thrilled and excited for this! But we need funds, otherwise this may not happen. If you check out the sidebar on that page, there are many different things you can earn, depending on how much you donate. I plan to help out as well!!

If funds reach the level they need to produce this, there will also be a DVD featuring all the girls, real footage from the photoshoot, behind the scenes interviews with the models and other awesome goodies!!

So please, take a minute to donate...even if it is just one dollar! Every penny counts! :heart:
